Poem Artwork

Never notice
the way the
leaves bend in the
rain
the motion of pain
in humans
oh the weight
of the storm
....could take them from
home
the place of familar
and it can rain
so hard
as to float on top
dirt
leaves
lost and bound by
no particular
place
but by-the-sway
of the wind
And Lord the cryin'
louder than my heart
splitting in two
the silently
loud
splitting of an
organ
such as my heart
that i too
lay
takin the abuse
of the rain
dirt pushed
up from the earth
her
gasping for air
stickin' to my viens
and my friend???
looking
lost and gone
pale
without the power to lift this spell
in the sky....
so dark
..so dark
....so black

that even the stars
aren't allowed
to take a glance
make for a chance
meeting
so dark
..so dark
....so black

Voice gone
from my howling
too long
at the moon
stripped naked and wet
clawin' at the grass
the concrete
nuthin' real
that i can see
my fingers
broken
and bleeds
i watch face down
from the side
of my face
how the leaves
bend and twist
as i did
.......for you soon too
have no particular place
to be
used up
silly old me
p. m. e.
takin so
selfishly
and i gave so much
that i just don't give a f***
that i feel
so dark
..so dark
....so black
with only my pen to target

Really isn't love free?
takin
givin
bein left feelin
so empty
feelin
so dark
..so dark
....so black

Note to self : make refrence check
(the words) angry-black

*see he told me
he loved my music
he play my body
and i make these glorious sounds
jazz/blues sounds
deep sounds
he say
so dark
..so dark
....so black sounds
he say he loves the soul i be
......and i sang i open
like a flower to a bee
he just-a sucking and sucking me
and i sang
so dark
..so dark
....so black

Mitzi,

This is, to say the least, a truly exceptional piece of art, humanity, and culture. What a treat to read this extremely well crafted piece which rises high above the usual and mundane verbage one sees here at AD on an hourly basis. Thank you for sharing this exceptional work of art!

Your bowl is always full of sugar baby doll
and I am like a thirsty bee around you,
You are warm, wonderful, and very real
in what you do. Not structured and
restricted like most women. What you see
(and what I see is a fine succlent woman)
is what you get. Honesty is the best
policy. But how man have it. How man
expose their lust and love to the world.
Not the little ninnies that abound in
this era. They curtsey and fart and
curtsey some more. This is my release
for you and about you. You can be
my rock-a-bye baby anything. And
fuck the world. Let's just get off
baby and disappear from view in
a firey flame of love and hope
and joy and let me taste of you
tonight. Hugs and kisses xoxo
your friend Bill

Potent, powerful and poignant, Mitzi, and conveys a depth of agony of body and soul that is heart-rending. Could really sense the feeling floating to the surface and exploding, like the dross thrown up by flash-flooding. Your style and language are piercing and direct and very effective and evocative. Could FEEL this one, good work, Babe! Kate x
