waters cool clear glass pitcher pour in bowl pass round hands in prayer

Atlantis...damballah Kinkdom of Dahomey raise dirt with knees people who flew bend backwards and sigh not a drop hits floor strange fruit grow back honot roots lay maps Kossola o lo loo ay whisper names once breathe keep faces on heart heavy, so so heavy and Lord the day gone come when I can lay them down and fly too

A poem like a wild water flower, this one, like one of those days when the sun taste like sugar and even the pain inside for your heart is sweet like a dream.

Nice write, Mitzi. I enjoyed the cadence and rhythm. "keep faces on heart heavy, so so heavy..." Aint it so.
