Carolyn Howard-Johnson challenged me to write the short poem below. “I would love to see a poem---a personal one---about the first time you saw your own story on screen,” she wrote.

A Dream Come True by Elizabeth Lawrence Excitement and delight combine watching a film from work of mine. My husband seems happy as well. He sees his writing work out swell. We feel thankful for cast and crew, admiring artistry they do. From life to page, then a movie – a dream come true , just believe me! (Dedicated to Carolyn Howard-Johnson, who always inspires me.)

Great poem! It must have been so exciting! I can't even compare but I can think I can share your joy. I watched with delight when I was in my first T.V. commercial when I was a much younger boy. Enjoy the moment!
