With Life comes struggles with faith comes redemption

Life Goes On

Through days of passing streams we wonder on seamlessly
Wondering will we ever find the answer to our dreams
We seek, look, try and dream we open up and even scream
Yet life goes on the price the same we feel we must be insane
Why tease us so why hurt our minds why open doors to slam behind
We give we get we take we try and yet no dream the big prize
We find we now want to curl up and die
The passages of time from the beginning of man
Have not changed one iota as we all still grab and slam
From our fellow brethren and say its for their best
Yet somehow we never truly feel we can rest
What we take we don't replace, what we give has a nasty taste
What we expect we don't receive, what we hope we still dream
Is the life we wanted still to be so far away from us
We know deep inside, truth abides we can set ourselves free
Yet on we go, pray, play and wonder when we can have our dream
We mantra we meditate we work we fight to just be me
When do we enjoy our peace, gaining all we came here to receive
