An observation of the beautiful interaction between my little Grandaughters.

Her small figure bends
to whisper loving little
words of comfort.
The wet baby face before her
lights up with a beam so beautiful
hearts would leap on sight!
Chubby hands pressed on infant knees,
she tenderly places her face and tousled chestnut curls onto the
tender cheek of her tiny sister.
A bond so precious to behold.

Two little Angels head to head.

I want to freeze the moment;
For them, for my daughter, for me,
Like a rippling wave
caught carelessly on still camera,
Unique, unchanging, Timeless.
To protect their innocence, their frailty
and utter vulnerability in an uncertain
and ever-changing world.
To hold them all tightly in my arms
and infuse them with the Healing power
of my fierce undying Mother-Love.

A lyrical, lilting lullaby,
Love immortalised
and given so freely, so lovingly,
so gently,
From one,
who is not yet
