THE WILL OF GOD

To be loved and to love.   God created you and me to be loved and he asks you and me to love others as we love ourselves

When Jesus was asked what commandments were the most important he said to love yourself  and to love others. If you and me follow this the other commandments will automatically be obeyed

To forgive and be forgiven. 

Jesus gave to us the Lords prayer.  Father forgive us as we forgive others. God forgives you and me when we ask, he asks of you and me to forgive ourselves and to f0rgive others. One of Gods gifts that go both ways.

To give and to receive 

Jesus told the rich man to give all his wealth away and he would receive. John D. Rockefeller   became happier and healthier when he took his doctors advice and began to give to his fellow man

To be happy and to add to the happiness of others

God wants us to be happy.  He gave us the power to choose to be happy. As Abraham Lincoln said   “people are as happy as they make up their minds to be.  God‘s will is that you add to the happiness of others. Follow the lead of Jesus. Let no one be diminished as a result of encountering you

To honor your physical emotional and spiritual being

It is the will of God that you be physically, emotionally, and spiritually healthy. It is not his will that you do this alone. To stay healthy one must call on him
