A Poetic Prayer for Memorial Day.

Remember them Remember Him Remember them Remember him They died to keep us Free He died for you and me Remember Them Remember Him They were wounded fighting the enemy He was wounded saving you and me Remember Them Remember Him They fought on foreign shores so we could be free He preached on foreign shores for you and me Remember Them Remember Him We live today and we are free We live today knowing eternity Remember Them Remember Him They live through us in our memory He lives through us in our humility Remember Them Remember Him Lord let us never forget our fallen soldiers Whose deeds and sacrifices like yours were Made to save us. They saved our bodies And you saved our souls together we Remember Them and Remember You Anonymous (c) Tuchy Palmieri 5/27/11
