The Baton Rouge Advocate Newspaper "People and Faith" section recently asked for its readers to comment on what "Heaven and Hell" meant to them. Here is my own little stab at it in 100 words or less. "Heaven and Hell"
In 100 words or less
Almost unfathomable
I must confess!

Heaven and Hell
The Bible proclaims they truly dwell
Undoubtedly, eternal and universal Truth exists
The 10 Commandments, the Beatitudes and other Sacred Lists
Moses, the Prophets, Jesus and the Church do tell

Perfection and Imperfection
Irreconcilable intellection
My sins and unforgiveness create a strife
With the Way, the Truth and the Life
Purgatory purifies, allows correction

I can be re-born, made anew
His Grace is sufficient for this too
By free will I must ultimately choose
Whether to humbly win by love or in pride to lose
Jesus, Merciful Judge & Savior, I trust in You.
