Can't get the spacing to stay like I want it to save me. Sorry if this is hard to read. May not be worth it. Disappointing for me because the shape I worked out for the poem is almost like a bonsai tree. s i g h

Someone -- many people? -- twisted and twisted the few branches they didn’t cut away from you. How is it you jave managed to stay beautiful? Where do you find the courage and determination to stay strong? To stay YOU-?? Tell me your secret. Please? Whisper, and no one else will hear. Not as beautiful as you, but maybe, just maybe, I can be half as strong if you will tell me how. Want to stay me, you know? Come on, tell me. The spacing is made more difficult by the limits of the software. The poem, on the other hand, knows no such limits and thus it works. As written art it is enhanced by your visual determination.

the analogy is an interesting one Phyliss Jean -- the bonsai retains the essence of its former self even after intense mutilation at the hands of man in the name of an art form -- environmental influences on man from his fellow man can and do have much the same effect upon our character -- so we too are bonsais of a sort -- not the purest form of the individual that we were at birth -- peace and love be always with you my friend -- JM
