I believe the human journey was never meant to be taken alone, and until I was in my forties I never really understood why I couldn't reach the stars...then along came a man I want to share all of my sunsets with...and now the stars are always within my reach....here's to love!

Always just out of reach…the stars! Alone, no matter how lofty the peaks I scaled Eyes stinging from the dripping Burning sweat of my brow… Blurring my vision until I couldn’t see Beyond myself… Always just out of reach…the stars! No matter which road I took It seemed the one I chose Was riddled with hidden craters And I’m was lost in a forlorn mist so dense There was only me, and Always just out of reach…the stars! But one day I came to a crossroads And with another soul I collided. He walked with me, hand in hand Until we reached a towering peak Then he lifted me… And I touched the stars! © Annabel Sheila

This is just riveting, Anna. To be able to, with a soul-mate's help, reach the stars is an grande thing indeed. Congratulations to you and the one you reach the stars with.
