Behind closed eyes
Between ear-buds small
Come images large

From Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals
To the Beatles’ Yellow Submarine
Through Jarrett’s Porgy
Brubeck’s Blue Ronda à la Turk
Harold Budd’s Haru Spring
Magic arouses illusion
Initiating passion’s guardian

To find music’s painting
Its sculptured perpetuity
Its ballet of shadows
Is to discover poetry’s universal language
To know inner love’s munificence
Forever ready to manifest
