Imagining the Unimaginable

As time looks around,
ancient yet so new is the thrust of the cave man's spear,
the flood of his primal wail
echoing through the narrow memory of man's mind.
Newer still are we who walk with false pride of modern man,
losing daily the value of remembrances,
hubris-blinded by present and future
as something greater than the past.
The vanity of “We” might never again
appreciate yesterday's language
on the rocks,
walls,
parchment,
paper,
iPad screens,
and holograms.
Beware
For even as we surge forward,
so too does our progress oft times choose to forget
we are always but cosmos-cavemen
buried deep inside our pride.
Life will always remain a never ending transformation
subject only to the imagined unimaginable.
Time's creation is forever looking around.
