Anti-body Compost

by Odin odin@aflx.com — Read all 3,869 poems by Odin odin@aflx.com

As the multi-guised flowers of the world’s living confront life, should we not allow the paradox of life and death remind us there may not be much resurgence of any kind without healing’s compost? (image by pinterest)

Anti-body Compost

What of Those…
from childhood to adulthood,
including the determined to reverse engineer adolescence,
hoping for delusional youthdom
to sustain who they are,

perhaps forgetting
there comes a time
when the death
of ideals,

of virtues,

of dreams,
pass onto their next iteration?

 What of That…
which serves as tools and nourishment
for the rational beings
to use and abuse,
to fend and consume,
to eventually exhaust and cast aside?

What of It…
that heart of all that makes possible Those and That’s,

the It we sometimes call
the spirit,
the soul,
the Natural Law,

this core essence of then,
now,
and tomorrow,

does not It also need the freedom to restart?

What of saving the It of life…

the healed anti-body compost needing to be volunteered?

An interesting poetic wake-up call for all. We will ALL die eventually. It's God's eternal equalizer. The choice we make now is if we want to live on the dark side or live with the giver of light. Amen

Indeed, we need to save the IT of life above all, otherwise we will all be reduced to a compost that gives no growth. Your imagery says it all.
