Solitude’s Bliss
Like a single snowflake finding purchase
There comes that time
Short as it may be
When a person finds
There are moments of peace
Only rewarded through
The effort to stop
Breath
Sit without moving
Clear the mind
Place distractions aside
Yes…
The moment of solitude may dissolve
Pass into that realm of transformation
Where once had been the lightness of peace
Now the conundrum of wind thrust mayhem
And…
Like the gentle landing of a snowflake
The unexpected flurry of movement
Conjures up Nature’s defense
The clinging to peace
Must be allowed to evolve
For…
Like melting snowflakes
Becoming nourishment’s partner
Allowing blooming of inspiration
To once again flourish
So too …
One’s solitude can aid
In preparing tomorrow’s challenge
To use as kindness
Compassion
And love for weathered growth
Needing to bloom again
To reach up and touch hope
And as mindset allows
Find solitude’s peace
Yin and yang
Understanding purpose
Iteration by iteration
Life is a response to changes—both good and bad. Free will allows us to decide our own part to play.
Have a blessed weekend, Odin.
