White Cap Answers

There are everyday people and some philosophers suggesting our existence is all an illusion. Others think many people live in an unrealized reality of their own denial. (Image by Peakpx)

White Cap Answers

Life's experience,
like calm's paradox, chaos,
never rests,
nurturing unpredictability,
reality’s innate genetic domain.

Even so…

Practice the wave we must.
Surf it, we try,
Man’s balance ever shredding the curl
into endless marbled breakers.

"Take your best shot,"
personification infused with risk-essential choices.

Some smile,
other’s thump their chests
unaware the unknown invites challenge.

And still others…

Understand the history before us
is the perpetuity of happenstance,
repeating ancient mistakes,
undulating with courageous failure,
even though wisdom's veritable ocean of waves,
wavelets and gentle ripples
witness sadness,
awaiting man’s timeless message
to become a lesson learned.

How easy to remain unaware.

So many eyes blinded
by learning’s stinging sensations of spray,
causing some to turn their mortality the other way,
struggling personas identifying with gravity
constricting freedom's imagination to leap,
to ride unpredictable breakers,
and like a bloated sow's intestine,
stuffed of indigestion's acid burn and gases,
many continue masticating their ignorance,
thinking all one’s destructive tsunamis can be mastered.

Unrealistic dreams roil and shift like tectonic plates
building momentum until explosive pressures release.

Such events become an experience
providing death's final wave cap,
dragging the unfortunate into its undertow,
drowning forever partnerships with other persons
oblivious of nature's always available perfection.

So why…

Certain persons choose madness
of an uncreative kind,
willing to tumble beneath the current
daring the air above them to disappear.

Eventually…

Such beings become mere flotsam of spirit,
molecular matter drifting to shore,
still in denial of erosion's rightness,
the cosmic endless rebirthing of existence.

For the fortunate…

Quiet tides gently massage mankind,
reminding all of history's attrition as necessary,
forever sliding effortlessly back to the deep,
cradling exhausted effort as only nature knows how.

Far out to sea, moonlight edges antiquity's raised arms,
knowing its homage is aware of time's compassion and spirit
riding within white cap answers.

The sea never speaks to me in so many messages. Perhaps I masticate my ignorance too often I drown in it. When my feeble body is washed ashore on one of your journies, I always walk away wetter and better.

Goodness. Some of the imagery in this splatted me against the wall. "like a bloated sow's intestine, stuffed of indigestion's acid burn and gases, many continue masticating their ignorance...." now that's a phrase that will live on in infamy. (-: Yes indeed.... continually chewing swallowing and vomiting the cud of sameness and ignorance is not good for creative inspiration. A cool wave image, Odinsan. For years, I surfed 3-5 days a week. I would have loved to ride that rolling tube. I was always surer of myself facing the wave, instead of with my back to it. I wasn't very good as a 'goofy foot.' Remaining unaware is a choice people make. Living in 'fuzzy bubbles' where everything is nice and neat, the same and sweet, does not make for good original thinking. Enjoyed this.

From the view of quantum physics, examining our makeup from our sub elements, the conclusion is that deep down in our quarks are very fuzzy and don't behave according to logical, gravitational rules like everything else, it is obvious we are underpinned with chaotic elements that have limited life, just like us. They have been created by very violent forces that shape the universe and even our lives as intelligent beings.

Which also explains why our minds are so chaotic and sometimes, dystopic, especially as we age and our strict patterns of behavior we learn from the very beginning become challenged by loss of memory. Again, explains why our relationships are so stormy at times. Our ability to think freely takes us in many directions that sometimes are self destructive, while in others are self enhancing.

Another very interesting and entrancing piece. A lot to think about.

Ron
