Indeterminate Planetary Vibrations

by Odin odin@aflx.com — Read all 3,869 poems by Odin odin@aflx.com

Is it possible that certain vibrations from outerspace have not been defined by science because we’ve not found any correlation for consensus because of the total foreign comparative value to any we are confident of? Might certain waves of vibration be of such a nature that they can only be felt within, undefined, needing not an newly invented text to describe such a intrinsically personal experience?  Indeterminate Planetary Vibrations

I.
The Solar System…

Circles like a mandala drawn in slow‑turning fire,
gravity the brushstroke that guides

eight wandering worlds along their paths.
Four rocky beads of the mala,

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars,
and four vast giants, thunder-hearted,
rotate in a silence older than language.

Stars beyond stars drift in their own serenity,
held together by the Great Binding
as if the galaxy practices its own form of Zen,
motion without hurry,
order without force,
the effortless discipline of the Tao.

II.
Yet within this measured dance
there are ripples science has not quite named,
a tremor between solar wind and starlit geometry,
a vibration softer than photon breath.
What if this frequency is not accidental,
but intentional as a gong struck at dawn
in a mountain monastery?
A tone meant to awaken,
not frighten.
A wave of life not like ours,
folded into the cosmic fabric
with the same quiet certainty
that shaped the sutras and the stars.

III.
We might sense it
as the monks once sensed
the shift in air before a storm,
a listening with the whole body,
a pause in the heart’s machinery.

It could feel like the love of those
who have walked beside us longest,
a familiarity that precedes explanation,
like the Buddha’s smile
before words were ever spoken.

This Solar vibration might reach Earth
as compassion carried on light,
a tuning of our scattered selves
back toward harmony,
as if the cosmos were offering
a lesson in kindness
written not on paper
but on the trembling skin of space.

IV.
And though we call such things imagination,
history teaches otherwise:
Zen masters felt truths
long before instruments confirmed them.
Ancient observers mapped the sky
with intuition sharpened into insight,
science and mysticism once walked together
like two halves of a whole mind.

So let us explore this wave as perhaps Love
with telescopes, PWI, and open hearts,
with equations and stillness,
with bold inquiry and humble wonder.
For if the universe is reaching toward us
with a vibration shaped like healing,
we should not turn away,
but listen, and learn what it means
to be touched by light in the language of Love.

Speaking of threads, I love the way you thread the needle of our universe with a weave into a tapestry of astronomy, mysticism, and compassion. The idea that certain vibrations can only be “felt within” echoes profound; the poem invites the reader to listen with more than the mind. Your imagery of the Solar System as a mandala and the universe as a teacher of kindness is especially striking. A fine reflection that is not only interesting, but thought-provoking.

A lot to take in, and true of our minuscule understanding of the universe. Words cannot describe as easily as numbers what is really there and what it's not.

For instance, the existence of black holes at this general of every galaxy. Predicted by mathematics but undefined until recently when visually proved. Mysterious dark matter awaits our understanding.

But if we dream it, your vibrations?, we can make it happen. And there is probably a ripple effect that travels down history like letting the genie out of the box with nuclear bombs. Fusion can be used as both a wonderful source of power and a terrible source of power. Which will we choose to use?
