When a lover words are not true . They can be felt even on the screen
Dancing With Shadows
His words shimmer on the screen
Subtle shades of deception
Dancing with shadows
But only in dreams
Heart held in check
Words flow not from the heart
From some place inbetween
In the space between spaces
Feelings enter my mind
Are not true to him
Words used to make me surrender
But not a love forever
Then he is gone
Shimmers leave my screen
Only hope I have
Is still within a dream

Sad and lovely~I would guess that you are writing of online romance which is iffy at best yet still doesn't negate the fact that we learn to care for an unknown behind that shimmering screen~A very moving piece~
Wow Kathy this is so exceptionally intense and sadly all too true...romances seem to have a habit of flaring up and going out only to flare up again on the internet. The rules of love went out the window and most of us just feel our way in the dark of those spaces between the lines as you so nicely put it.
