Love is all it takes

Poem Artwork

Midnight Surrender

Misty rain falls silently

Low fog slips in the night

Soft winds touch our bodies

As we hold each other tight

Lips soft and warm

Blending together as one

Breath mingled with breath

Midnight surrender as

A new romance has begun

Tenderness enhancing feelings

Whispers sing loves praises

Gently hands caress

Delicately featured faces

Longings become reality

Waiting over for this night

Full moon showing silhouettes

With its illuminating light

Gentle spirits join as one

Inhabitations take flight

Opening up their hearts

On this starry night

Love should last a lifetime

And beyond the veil

Through disappointments

If it is a true love

It will prevail

Therein lie the key, Kathi; a lot of people are not sure what "love" is, never mind "true love." Thank you for sharing. Love and hugs,

Beautiful poetry of a sensuous night that may be as lasting as the ending. Captivating

So very romantic! Lovers entwined in each other's bodies, as their spirits float overhead.

Peace,
Dayvid

If ever there was a kiss sweeter than that first kiss or the first touch of unclothed bodies ever more erotic than the first embrace or the sight of that that has not been see before. Very sweet, well stated words, Kathleen.
Your friend, Mark
