So many times
We sit to tell ourselves we’re fine
But feeling inside that it’s far from
Alright
Hiding emotions, scared to fall
Not knowing what wounds could
Do to our soul
Wondering around, inside our own minds
Trying to figure out
Who we truly are
Years by years everything fades
Opening questions we don’t want to face
And like a shadow on our faces
We carry fright within ourselves
Ugly, unhappy, not loved or cherished
Are all issues we are often facing
But just to stand up tall to it all…
Would reflect on our soul
Look beyond the criteria we set
Just live happily being who you are
Stop being scared of our own hearts
Hearts are only there to grow
And to show us love we should know
Protect yourself and your heart
Then you might see
Who you inside are…
And what you discover you might as well love
Don’t care about what people might think
You are you and that’s individual...
For nobody ever could be you again
Not in your mind, not in your head
We are all here, millions of us...
No-one's the same though, and that's what makes this world turn around.
