I won't let you
Bring me down.
Your words are nothing,
I repeat,
They are nothing at all.
So don't you take me for a fool
I won't cry over you anymore.
My wall is stronger now
Nothing you do will let it fall
I am stronger, so much stronger
You put me through so much.
Those tears I cried,
Only made me tougher.
And if nothing is there
To thank you for,
I'll thank you for this;
You made me stronger
You made me aware
I'm getting over the pain
That used to be there.
And I want to be me,
Me, I said
I don't care what you think of me
I have finally learned
Who I true ly am, and
I love to know the person that I am.
You thought I wasn't strong enough
You thought you could make me
You little shadow,
But all you did was make me wiser,
All you did was put yourself
In your own world of shadow.
