Faith stood at my door and brought a message for me

It read my life when I walked a solemn path

And played my thoughts like no one ever did

I watched the days when I prayed to God to

Send a little piece of heaven to ease my pain.

I looked around and waited, but my patience was all out

In the blink of an eye, I heard a sweet cry

Something so tender, moved in my arms

A river of joy rushed through my heart

An enchanting smile erased my solemn days

So warm and radiant, Please say it isn’t so

Eternal thoughts of love came rushing through my mind

Wrapped up in my arms, as tiny as can be

The sun, moon and stars had never shone so bright

I couldn’t close my eyes; a moment is worth too much

I still ask and wonder why heaven came to me

How something so tiny could give me so much joy?

I raised my head to heaven and it all came to me

As my nights turn to days, I watch you grow and blossom

I used to dream of heaven but never like I see

A little piece of heaven right here in my arms
