His heart ached when he thought about her

The sensation produced stimulated more

than his mind - but he knew if he told her

how he really felt, she might leave him.

She illuminated his life, his love for her

was like a lighthouse's beacon - wanted

the world to see he had fallen for her; and

he would devote the rest of his life to

loving her like she had never been loved.

His dreams were so real, he could

reach out and touch her - would

always see her running across a field

She was so beautiful, she brought out

the sunlight covered up by life's clouds.

He had feelings that he never felt before

Her beauty captivated him - just looking

at her picture deeply held his attention

She was a vision of true loveliness -

Quite unlike he had ever seen.

Life had been a long and winding road

So one day not so long ago, he decided

to take the road less traveled, he's glad

because she was there; asked, "Light me

up"; and she answered, "I already have!"
