Christmas, Easter, Sunday Morn,
Monday, Friday, when we're born,
Time don't wait, but time does warn,
Today's God's favorite day.
 
Tuesday, Thursday, making plans,
Wednesday tries to hold their hands,
while Saturday just understands,
Today's God's favorite day.
 
So trust in God with each new dawn, 
tomorrow's not worth countin' on
and yesterday is past and gone,
Today's God's favorite day.
