There’s no time
for sleep to fall
just not enough reserved
to call our own as the
hours pass by like minutes
and minutes turn to seconds
entangled in the warmth
this rapture must go on
or there’ll be no invitation
for the morning bird’s song
delight in the rapture
this euphoria we’ve made
all mine and yours
and suddenly . . .
Serenity
is given a new name
