From the fount of your lips, promises pour forth,
Yet this passionate pool of love remains bone dry
Because your flowing promises are false and empty,
Comprised only of dried deceptions and parched lies.
Hence, this awaiting, barren pool is never fulfilled with love;
The only fluids ever to touch it are salty tears from my cries.
