Climate of Exhale
I saw it all unfold
Slowly turning like embers burning
As a tenacious tide crystalized granite
Revealing a diamond image
That could be silted through my toes.
With each imprint in the sand a mold was cast
it’s way back to the water charging in the ebb
Sinking to the cool depths
In the wind of hurricane gales
The heat of the summer and the choppy white
That lulls above the wakes
Slowly the imprint changes and changes
In the shell of the ocean deep
only to be returned back to the beach-head
And on his shoreline did I see the dawn break
Into twilight as a pearl revealed
All I cannot explain in God’s great design
And nothing more beautiful
Had I seen ever done
When a boy became a man
As I witnessed with my son
Just beautiful Timothy!!
Awesome picture!!
