When I carry these eyes too weary
upon the opening in the pass
a glint of moonlight
to the overture above me,
near peaceful waters that abide in thee
In the vision beyond the pass
was tranquil to rest
my questioning spirit,
as my sandals help wear
the cobblestone road
unlit in the echoes of all darkness.
When finally my gaze has fallen to her glory
that beckoned me through this valley
As I stand in amazement
to my hoping anticipation
of the women that holds
the candle for me
