This is a tribute to the pen which is migthier than the sword.

ERIMAKO'S PEN*

Your pen is six inches long and strong.
Its head is big, bald and bold, brainy.
Its nib will write--to right the wrong.
Your pen is it any day, sunny or rainy.

Handled well, it rises to any occasion.
It can trace a concatenation of strokes.
A brainy issue can come out with passion.
It comes alive even with impassive stokes.

Held with fingers of sobriety, propriety;
it will ooze with a lot of rationality.
Fingered with a touch of emotive variety,
it will exude with a cup of seminality.

It is free as the wind is always free,
circumscribed only by a sea of eternity.
It minds not fear nor a proffered fee.
It gets madness into a nest of serenity.

Your pen is six inches long and strong.
It pulses with the beat of a mighty horde.
It is pushed or pulled to right the wrong.
Your pen is mightier than a mighty sword.
