Where Does God Live?

“In the beginning God Created the Heaven and the Earth.”
If God created the heavens and the Earth, He could not have been in them to create them. If God was outside the universe when He created it, where was He? If everything that existed was created by God, He was not in a “Place”. There was only God.
God told Moses that “I Am that I Am”.
The question remains, Where is God?
Recent science tells us that the entire mega-universe, according to String Theory, is constructed of 11 “dimensions”. If all that exists was created by God, then the dimensions themselves were a part of creation, as well as all the physical laws we see as a part of our “science knowledge”. I have long believed that our universe that we live in is a 4 dimensional place with time as the 4th dimension. Particle physics theorizes that there are many universes, each with different numbers of dimensions. Heaven is a place that allows for the “extra” dimensions that we don’t see. That’s why we don’t see angels or other “spiritual” beings that the Bible tells us are always present.
We know from the Old Testament that God did interact with man in this world several times in the past, but God told Moses that he could not look on God’s face without dying. For God to interact with man, He must take a form that is part of the greater universe with dimensions we don’t see.
When Jesus came to Earth it was as a physical 3 dimensional Human Being. God deliberately limited Himself to that form in order to directly interact with man. After Jesus was resurrected he was able to walk through walls and appear in any form. That is direct evidence that He was then part of a realm that allowed “extra” dimensions.
When John went to Heaven in the book of Revelations, he was temporarily a part of that “extra-dimensional” realm and could therefore witness history in the future as well as the past. He saw the “Throne Room of God” and witnessed strange beings around it. Jesus was there as well as the angels of God. If the Throne of God was there, He must be able to go there as well.
As far as where does God live, God can live anywhere He chooses, but if He interacts with His creation, He must first take a form that allows those who live in that part of creation to interact with him.
God is outside His creation and is limitless in His abilities, but like a computer programmer who writes a virtual reality game, He can put Himself into any scenario that He chooses. Also like a programmer, He can delete or change any part of the universe that he chooses. This leads to the question, “Why did God create the universe”?
I believe that God created the universe for the same reason we build a house, to live in it. Maybe God was lonely and created man for companionship. We can only speculate about God’s reason for creating us and the universe. As long as we are restricted to our 3 dimensions plus time, we can never approach God but Jesus made a way for us to transcend time and space and, in His words, He “went away to prepare a place for us to be with Him”.
God is always in His universe whether it be this one or one of many in creation. Where does He live? He lives in all of it. It is His HOUSE.
