This flick came out in 1981 - Paul Newman and Sally Fields worked really well together. The old saying: "Turnabout is fair play" is exemplified in this movie.
Truth and Accuracy are at odds in this story about newspaper reporting. Over-zealousness by all the major players results in an ending that sees that Justice is done.
But the lies and deceitfulness is costly - an innocent life is lost. But which character will it be?
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie that I saw in the theater some 27 years ago. I give it a 10 !!!
Had almost forgotten these two stars had worked together.
