Personally, I’m sick and tired of their CEO’s moaning and groaning, and crying the Blues! What happened to all the Millions and Billions of dollars that they reaped during their Heyday - the Good Years of Profits?

They sure as hell didn’t roll it back into their Mammoth Corporations in the form of Assets Retained for Research and Development, did they? The only thing worse than Greedy CEO’s and Boards of Directors, and/or Trustees - is Greedy Shareholders!

As long as Profits were being doled out in the form of Dividends, who gave a big flying rat’s arse, how much the big wheels siphoned off FIRST for themselves? In those many, many Good Years - Management was Happy - Shareholders were Happy - Labor was Happy! Union Workers with higher than average hourly wages, and excellent benefits, including: Health, Vision, and sometimes, even Dental coverages - like the proverbial Fiddling Grasshopper - they were all Happier than a Pig in Slop!

In the meantime, the Rest of us who worked just as hard, but maybe in a field of white-collared jobs, with No Union Wages - struggled just to make ends meet. Like the proverbial Ant - WE were the Backbone of America, the struggling Masses, the Lower Middle-Income Class - bearing the brunt of funding the economy via our Tax Dollars.

And how did we manage to survive? CREDIT! The God-Almighty System of Satan - No Money? No Problemo! Put it on Plastic!

I once saw a sign in front of a Church -
“If you Borrow from Tomorrow, you will Always be BROKE!”

Exorbitant Usury Interest Rates and Charges - ALL and ALWAYS APPROVED BY CONGRESS! You know, that Elite group of Five-Thirty-Five, way up in their Ivory Towers - Above the Law - Above the People - the Lying Greedy PAWNS of the Corporations! Yeah, the ETHICS Specialists!

THEY could all afford the Big-Ass Pick-Up Trucks, Hummers, RV’s, Cadillacs, Lincolns, Jags, Beamers - the Top of The Line stuff! The same guys who became Slackers, and stopped producing Safe, Quality Automobiles for the little people. PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE - sell them pretty JUNK that rusts and falls apart too soon - ah, yes, that’s the ticket!

But, more and more little people bought VOLVOS - Safer than any American Junk ever made by the Big Three - and then more and more Quality Imports - Toyotas, Hondas, VW’s - cars with excellent repair records and high mileage took over America! Even then, THEY didn’t get it - Seat Belts, Air Bags, ABS Brakes, Catalytic Converters - and more - were all FORCED UPON THEM BY LAW!

What was their answer? It certainly wasn’t less choices of Models, with higher Quality - rather, it was to SELL OUT DETROIT! Go to Bed with the Foreign manufacturers - MAKE all the Dealers SELL IMPORTS, SIDE-BY-SIDE to their JUNK! I would love to have been a fly on the wall when they made each deal - to SELL AMERICA DOWN THE TUBES!

SO - that was History - what about Now?

No Problemo Again! Just keep your mouth shut - mind your own little business - and ALLOW CONGRESS TO BAIL THEM OUT!

SORRY - I DON’T BUY THAT - HERE IS MY WAY:

1. LIMIT THE NUMBER OF MODELS - Small - Medium - Large -
that’s it! Create only Three Assembly Lines - ALL Top-Quality,
ALL the Same, ALL Include the Exact Same Features - the Only OPTION is Color! PERIOD!

If GMC’s Best Sellers are: Cadillac, Lincoln, and Chevrolet - then that’s ALL they will make - No More: Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, Buicks, or any other Models! NADA! The same rule applies to Ford and Chrysler!



2. NO CHOICES OF ENGINES - No more Re-tooling for some 4’s, some 6’s,
some 8 Cylinders - Only 4 Cylinders for Gasoline-Powered Passenger cars - Only 6 Cylinders for Hybrids - Only 8 Cylinders for ALL Trucks and Commercial Vehicles, and they are ALL either DIESEL, or HYBRID, or ELECTRIC! PERIOD!

3. PRODUCTION RATIOS - ALL ELECTRICS, and HYBRIDS - will be
produced at a Three-to-One Ratio, as compared to Each Gasoline Car
manufactured! PERIOD!

The Primary Goal is to Eliminate the GAS-GUZZLERS ASAP - The
First Assembly Lines are for ALL-ELECTRIC - The Seconds -
HYBRIDS - The Thirds - Gasoline or Diesel.

The Secondary Goal is Two-Fold - the Masses, the Millions, who have to
get to and from work every day, Must be produced First - AND - the
Commercial Trucks and Service Vehicles, which are the Backbone of
Moving Products across this Nation, Must be produced Concurrently.
ALL other BS vehicles for so-called: Recreation, Four-Wheeling, Boat-
Hauling, and any other non-essential function TAKE A BACK SEAT!

Let other vehicle manufacturers corner these markets - The Big Three
have a RESPONSIBILTY to SAVE THEIR INDUSTRY! PERIOD!

4. COLLABORATION AND COOPERATION - this should be a very clear
and easy Transition - ALL BS about Patent Rights, and who invented
what, and for why - GO OUT THE DOOR! Whoever makes the Best
Transmissions, gets the Same Contract, at the Same Price, for All Three
Manufacturers. This Principle holds true for Every Part of Every
Vehicle! PERIOD!

As an example here, remember how, in the good old days of really
‘efficient’ Government Waste, each Part of our Military worked
separately on their OWN version of every: Rocket, Plane, Ship,
whatever - all SECRETLY trying to out-manuver each other, while
trying to ‘Beat The Clock?’ HOW STUPID! Instead of Sharing and
working Together, and reaching a Higher NATIONAL GOAL
QUICKLY - they fought among themselves! NO MORE!


5. STANDARDIZATION OF PARTS - I don’t remember if it was Remington,
or Winchester, but whichever, he demonstrated his idea of Inter-
changeable Parts for Rifles to the then current President, and Got the
Contract to manufacture them for the entire U.S. Army! Can you
imagine what our Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan would be up
against if each of 150,000 weapons was totally DIFFERENT?

Well, that’s what Detroit has been doing to the American consumer for
over 50 years now! TOO MANY CHOICES! These variations, changes,
re-tooling, colors, seat patterns, A/T or Stick, A/C or not, tinted glass,
cup-holders, and a myriad of other Options - ALL COST MONEY!
NO MORE!

6. GAS PUMPS - NO MORE BS - ONLY ONE OCTANE - THE BEST!
ALL gas refined One Way - no BS choosing, debating, pondering,
comparing prices, guessing which is better? ALL manufacturers are
TOLD what we in America Want - ALL the same - ALL the Best - at
EVERY STATION ACROSS THE U.S.A.

7. LOCATION OF FACTORIES - as there are Four Time Zones, from coast
to coast, each of The Big Three should build a factory in each of these
zones, for each line it produces. This would ultimately result in Thirty-
Six Factories, or Plants, spread across America - thereby reducing
somewhat the Costs of Transporting our American-Made vehicles to the
Consumers. This also would provide JOBS - plant construction, the
erection of assembly lines, workers - ancillary parts manufacture and
distribution, and more.

Instead of only Detroit being the Car Capital alone, it would have
Thirty-Five Sister Cities to SHARE THE WEALTH WITH!


Yeah, I know - just a Pipe-Dream - but -

DAMN - I FEEL BETTER ALREADY!
