Getting those Creative Juices flowing.

As you know, the Best Books often contain original material. Something no one else has thought of before. I have found some of my favorite movies have surprise endings. I leave the theater thinking, “Wow, I sure didn't see that coming”. The reason I could not see it was the ending was original.

Original material requires original thinking. How is this done? The answer is you must “Think the Unthinkable”. If it was thinkable, someone else has already thought it. Doesn't that make sense? Similarly, a new Invention involves making something no one else has ever made before, right?

Thinking the unthinkable may not be as hard as it seems. Generating brand new ideas is simply a matter of “Perspective”. To experience Perspective perform this exercise. Take an object and place it on a table. Spend a minute studying the object, then take a few steps to the right. See, your perspective has changed. Take a couple of steps back and your perspective has changed again. It looks completely different, doesn't it?

Here's a question, “Does anyone else in this world have the same perspective on the same object as you.” No, of course not.

Now, take the book you are writing and place it on the table.
