From the moment you are aware of a problem, your first action is to choose whether you want the problem or the solution.
Calling it the Manifesting Trilogy, I traveled the Elijah Journey through the first 15 verses of the 17th chapter in the first book of Kings – Old Testament. The first four verses represented the first portion of the journey, revealing the matter of choice available to us. From verses five through eight, it was apparent that preparation for the major tasks of this journey was at hand. In verses nine through fifteen, we found the outline for handling the tasks indicated in this passage. Very simply, the first book of the Trilogy identifies the situation: a proclamation of lack – a drought was announced. This was the starting place and the point at which you make a decision. Aptly named Choosing, this book enables you to define yourself and set the energy and light of your consciousness in motion when faced with lack in any form. Whether in the form of sickness and disease, conflict in relationships, crime in your community, competence in your work or institutional discrimination, when it appears, the first thing you must do is choose what you will have. That a drought was announced identifies your contender as death or curses – as indicated in the choice set before you in Deuteronomy: life or death, blessings or curses. Are you going to let the drought take over and rule your life or are you going to offset it with a different choice? Really now, if a medical authority tells you the condition is terminal do you have to buy into this proclamation of lack and loss? Although family members might have fallen into a pattern of arguments and conflict, is this the way it has to be? If you found a task at work overwhelming and you seemed to have no way to solve it in the moment are you going to give up and say, “I can’t handle that”? It does not matter what the proclamation of lack is, what is your choice? Approach the book Choosing from the perspective of your ability to decide what you will have and experience. The clip from chapter three on Indoma’s Place gives attention to the meaning of the location Gilead. It represents a spiritual zone – and I discovered over the course of time a spiritual zone is the location of my inner life experiences. in this space I can play any part of any thing or any person in the known or unknown universes. I can play the part because I can choose to do so. Test it out for yourself. Using your mind's eye to see, name something and see it as it appears on the stage of your mind. See if you like this: on an island retreat, you are relaxing by the pool. This is your island retreat if you saw it – it belongs to you. Any thing in your mind is your possession. Okay, you chose to experience the island retreat by allowing yourself to relax by the pool. You are free to choose this is your lifestyle if you repeatedly relax by the pool on your island retreat. Your job is to choose it and be in the consciousness of it. being in this consciousness constantly sends the energy and light of this consciousness to replicate the experience for you beyond your inner experience with it, to your outer or physical reality.
