I like the idea of telling my story of my satisfaction factor. You have your own story about your satisfaction factor. My story about my satisfaction factor is about my expansion. I am having the time of my life, utilizing this moment in time. I am having so much fun because I am aware of moving along my emotional journey. On my emotional journey I am moving forward in the direction of the feeling I want. From the moment I knew I could, I set my priority. I decided how I wanted to feel, and decided to take my emotional journey consciously. I set happiness as my emotional priority. I set the feeling of fun as my emotional priority. So I am on my emotional journey to happiness and fun. I am moving through the experiences of life with the conscious intention for being happy and having so much fun. Moving along my journey, I am making stops along the way and I am finding reasons for satisfaction. I am making my satisfaction factor alive.
As it is with any journey, the joy is in the pleasures I am taking all along the way. All along my emotional journey, I am making stops and exploring the experiences right in front of me and finding reasons for satisfaction in the moment. Understand, I am looking for all the joy I can find in every experience so I delighting myself in the satisfaction factor. I am telling you this is the most exciting journey I have ever taken. Pausing to tell you about my journey is part of the emotional journey I started decades ago. I am having fun telling you about my journey.
Bringing you up to speed, I want you to know I have been on this journey since infancy. Only recently did I find my emotional journey is perpetual. One of the greatest delights is finding I am always free to make choices about how I am feeling all along my journey. I like the idea of setting my own personal priorities for how I want to feel. So I set happiness and satisfaction as my priority. All along the way, I am keeping track of my journey. Having fun, feeling eager and enthusiastic, feeling lighthearted as I am moving along my experiences, I am showing where to keep score of how I am moving forward to my destination to happiness and satisfaction.
Knowing my destination is happiness and satisfaction is making my emotional journey so much fun. In an accelerated training program now for over a year, I am discovering many great things about myself. I am discovering my capacities, some new to me, and others, the newness is the extent to which I am using my innate capacities in new and different ways. In this training I am consistently practicing thoughts and feelings I am choosing for myself and rearranging the contents of my consciousness. The contents I am arranging and rearranging are ideas. Having an infinite array of ideas available to me, I am feeling excited almost all the time. All throughout the various components of my emotional journey, I am consciously arranging ideas for my pleasure. I am rearranging ideas for the satisfaction it causes me to feel. Arranging and rearranging ideas because it makes me happy to do so is my intention.
Significant in my intentional focus on ideas that satisfy me and make me happy is the true benefit I have come to recognize and expect. In the late 1960s I came to realize stress is a major cause of sickness, disease and disability, and during my current training program, I came upon findings in scientific research in neuroscience, medical neuroscience and cognitive neuroscience that justify my focus on satisfaction and happiness. I find in these studies ideas for my ongoing emotional journey, especially when I stop off to explore conditions of health.
With infinite ideas in my consciousness, I arrange them by thinking them. Through all my training, I’m discovering more about how my feelings play into each thought I think. Very simply, I have feelings about my thoughts. I think a thought and immediately I feel a feeling that matches the thought. It’s called thinking a thought that feels good, or thinking a thought that feels bad. I am free to think any thought about any idea. How I am feeling about the thought tells me which way I am going. Feeling good about thoughts I am thinking, I am moving toward my destination of happiness and satisfaction. Feeling bad, I am moving away from my destination.
Whatever ideas I am thinking, through my ongoing training I realize each idea has its own vibrations or energy. I meet these vibrations in persons, places and things all along my journey to happiness and satisfaction, and include them in my mix of vibrations. The energy of each idea is its emotions. Vibrations most active in me get my attention. Feeling the sensations in my body, I laugh if I'm happy and blow my stack if I'm angry. Whichever energy I am feeling for up to 17 seconds, I build momentum in that feeling. The main clue of building momentum is the series of flashing thoughts similar to those I am thinking when the feeling comes over me. In feeling these feelings for up to a minute, the momentum is strong enough for me to form a belief. Forming a belief about the person, place or thing I am thinking about, I am forming expectations. The expectations I am forming are about the person, place or thing I was thinking about, leading me to a decision, for action or a response.
Moving along my emotional journey, I am finding articles and books, posts and lectures, videos and conversations when I am ready for them. It’s as though I am making a pit stop along the way and trail off to explore the scenery. I mention these contributors to my journey because of how I am using the information along my journey. At times, I find I had already been exposed to the information I am using. I am using it now because I am ready to hear and understand it. I am finding numerous ideas in the course of my training. Some parts I’ve known for years, and some I'm just picking up on. One such item is a scientific report indicating the sweeping claim that humans are hardwired for negativity. With solid justification for that claim, I learned from the author about my capacity to rewire my brain. So refreshing. Not only had I not thought about my brain as being hardwired for negativity, I assure you, I am glad to find I have the remedy. Delighted I am not stuck with a brain hardwired for negativity, I am thrilled with the idea of my capacity to rewire my brain for feeling I love to feel.
The point in rewiring my brain is rearranging the contents of my consciousness. My ideas about persons, places and things in my life constitute the contents of my consciousness. Please know my emotional journey is from where I am now to where I want to be. Where I am now is a feeling. Where I want to be is a feeling. I call these feeling places. In my training, I find I am at different feeling places about different ideas. At times I am at different feeling places about the same idea. I have a mix of feelings, and being aware of what I am feeling is my advantage. The first benefit is knowing where I am so I can determine where I want to be. Knowing how I am feeling about a person, place or thing, it is easy to chart my journey to the feeling I want to feel. More than this, how I am feeling about anything at any time plays a part in the communication between my brain and my body. So whatever ideas I am thinking factor in my body functions.
Ever how good I am feeling about a person, I know I can feel better, and the better I am feeling, the better I cooperate in the flow of energy in my physical body. My training provides the means for clarifying the authenticity of my feelings. Just to be clear, the authenticity of my feelings is set in how I generate my feelings. The question is this. Are my feelings conditional or unconditional. Depending on the person to say and do things that make me feel good, I am using the condition to dictate my feelings. Feeling uncomfortable about what a person says or does, I am letting what I think of what I am seeing or hearing dictate my feelings. This is conditional. As soon as I realize my feelings are conditional, I chart my journey for unconditional feelings about the person. This is part of the training.
Feeling good when I think the person’s name is unconditional. I am not thinking about what he is saying or doing, or what I remember him saying or doing something that makes me feel one way or another. I am thinking about who the person really is, regardless of who he is allowing himself to be, using this as a reminder to take care of my feelings.
Taking care of my feelings, I am feeling my way to thoughts that feel better. I feel my way to thoughts that are satisfying. One way to find a better feeling thought is to think about who the person really is, using merely his name to jog my memory. I train myself to think his name and feel good. At times, I use the person’s name as a trigger point to alert me to remember he is a vibrational or energy being. At other times, I use the person’s name to alert me to think how I am feeling about the ideal version of him. I always have ideal versions of persons, places and things in consciousness, and easily observe them in my mind's eye. When I am thinking about a person who is showing he is unhappy by what he is saying or doing, I simply think, “I know he wants to feel good” and that single thought takes me into a new feeling place. When I find I had allowed myself to become upset at what the person had said or done, I shift my focus. Remembering this is not what I want to feel, I think, “I want to feel good”. Right away I notice I am feeling better. I am feeling better because I turned my attention to a different direction.
Significant in thinking good feeling thoughts about a person, place or thing where I am in relation to being a cooperative component for the wellbeing of my physical body. In my training I found information about how my body functions. I found out about the vast intelligence of my body and the tremendous systems of communication between my brain and my body. Left on its own, my body easily maintains balance. But can you imagine what happens because of the way my brain is wired? Considering how I am thinking when my brain is wired for negativity, I don’t have to wonder long to see how this affects how my body maintains balance. Wired negatively, I am in a constant fight-flight mode, releasing chemicals that correspond with this mode. Focused primarily on which shoe is going to drop next, I maintain myself in a stress mode, inhibiting the flow of chemicals naturally designed for buffering stress. In this mode, I am interfering with the brain-body communication.
Interfering with my brain-body communication, I am causing what research fellows in the medical neuroscience department at Duke University call “poor neuronal signaling”. This is simple. By my negative wiring, I am not allowing my opioids to function as they are intended. Any physical pain I feel shows I had not allowed my opioids to function properly. Understand how it happens. Before I feel physical pain, I am feeling emotional pain. My emotional pain is my internal signal of stress. My emotional pain indicates the stress I am trying to manage, but I am feeling this pain because I am keeping my focus trained on something that is making me feel bad. The emotional pain often starts off very small. It might be as simple as feeling boredom at the thought of a person, place or thing. Feeling bored, I am automatically wanting excitement. In my complaint about having nothing that interests me, I pick up momentum in thoughts for more complaints. All along I am wiring my brain for complaints, because I’m still looking in the same direction. All I'm seeing is something I don’t want and complaining about it.
A major benefit of my accelerated training program is finding out about my automatic action whenever I am observing what is going on around me. Whether I like what I see or don’t like it, I am always personally carving out the very best and most satisfying things for myself, making it part of my broader perspective. In my automatic mental action I am maintaining balance with the answer part to my questions and the solution part to problems I notice. With this automatic mental action I am activating my stress buffers. Knowing about my automatic action, I now turn my attention to the things I personally carved out for myself. In the process of turning my attention to thoughts of my broader perspective, I am rewiring my brain. I am using my good feeling thoughts about the answers and solutions to rewire my brain. Thinking about the answers and solutions, I am activating my satisfaction factor. Continual focus on answers and solutions, I am building momentum and maintaining my satisfaction factor.
I start the process of rewiring my brain by rearranging the contents of my consciousness with thoughts that feel good. Thinking and talking about answers and solutions feels good. With one main purpose in mind, my satisfaction, I rearrange the contents of my consciousness when I am thinking about the answers and solutions. Thinking about the pleasure answers and solutions bring is part of the satisfaction factor. Being practical, I explore reports about government and political leaders. Initially I see things that are not satisfying. What wonderful things am I carving out of these reports to fit my satisfaction factor? Looking at what is going on, it is easy to see the politicians and media speak and act right in line with where they are vibrationally focused. In the discord and aggressive actions they talk about, they show they are not aligned with the answers and solutions they had carved out for the satisfaction and happiness natural to their wellbeing. Observing where they are focused in my understanding of the scale of emotions, I recognize the gap between where they are and where they want to be. Recognizing the general nature of where they want to be becomes my point of focus.
Answering a question someone asked about a prominent political leader and the various speculations for our government, I explored the government sector. On my emotional journey, I come upon different components of the government sector. Because each moment is new, I know each new moment brings a new aspect of government. Each moment presents new opportunities for me to find the satisfaction factor. Excited about the satisfaction factor, I use it to guide my focus on government and political leaders. Seeing the person's question about the political leader is one such moment with new opportunities for finding the satisfaction factor. I am using the lady’s question as a bouncing off place to shift to my satisfaction factor. The political leader she raised her question about had a history of making inflammatory public comments. With disdain and offense, he reflects the consciousness of unworthiness. He devalues almost everyone.
In the politician’s lashing out, he blames others in a cycle of rage. The lady asked if he could go lower. Oh my goodness! I realized she had asked a magnificent question. At the rate of his tirades that get public attention, it appears he is in a downward spiral. Increasingly more vile, his rants have gone far beyond anything anyone has ever seen in a political figure at that level of government. Interestingly I realize when he is ranting, he is showing he is trying to feel he is powerful. On the scale of emotions, rage feels better than powerlessness. That he is continually ranting and making disparaging remarks against others, I realize he is building momentum in his negative hardwiring. Continuing in the direction he is going, he is showing more and more of the darkness. Numerous reports of efforts to get him to stop acting this way have been ineffective. Because these reports are coming through the media, it is easy to conclude that they are talking about mental and physical efforts aimed at behavior.
Knowing wellbeing is a natural state, I know the man really wants to feel better. I also know he is continually carving out things that are pleasing and satisfying and putting these things in to his vibrational reality. I realize he is not using his mind's eye to see what he has stored up for himself because of his rants. He is showing the world how bad he feels. At the same time he is showing how wide the gap between how he feels about what he is observing around him and what he has carved out for himself is. When I am thinking about this politician as he is showing up, I am exploring this aspect of him for the clarity I am gaining. I am positioning myself to gain clarity for the pleasure I am choosing with the satisfaction factor. In other words, I am wanting to feel pleasure and satisfaction when I think about him. I want to feel pleasure and satisfaction no matter what I see or hear in the news about him. I have no interest in using him as my excuse to deprive myself of my natural sense of wellbeing. I want to assure my satisfaction factor is active when I think about this politician. This requires thinking thoughts that feel good.
My exploration in any segments of experience along my emotional journey is for one singular purpose. I want to keep my satisfaction factor active. Exploring the government segment I am using my emotional journey to shift my focus to things everybody wants. In this nation of three hundred million, I am convinced every single person wants satisfaction. Each person wants to be happy. Everyone wants to have fun. The desire for satisfaction and fun and happiness spans across all lines. I realize the hitch in the get along is in how the satisfaction and happiness and fun is reached. This is where it gets interesting. As long as we are concerned with how we reach the satisfaction factor, we create stress. We build momentum of stress trying to figure out how to get the satisfaction factor. The moment I realized I wanted the satisfaction factor, I realized I had already given the satisfaction factor to myself. The satisfaction factor is my solution, calling me to give it my attention. My part is to focus on the idea of satisfaction until I am feeling the sense of satisfaction. I know I can trust my broader perspective to deliver my satisfaction. I am trusting my broader perspective to deliver my unique satisfaction factor to me.
Just to be clear, I want you to realize I know each person has his or her own satisfaction unique factor. What satisfies you is unique to you and what satisfies me is unique to me. I can tell you satisfaction is important to me. I believe I am accurate when I say your satisfaction is important to you. The most wonderful thing I know is this. Your satisfaction is available to you. Guess what! My satisfaction is available to me. Plain and simple, satisfaction is available to everyone. The thing about unique satisfaction is its delivery. When I am feeling satisfaction, I am expecting satisfaction. Thinking about my journey to the satisfaction factor, everything is on the table. So I am tuning in to my satisfaction factor by merely acknowledging it exists. I have but to tell myself the satisfaction factor exists. My satisfaction factor exists. The satisfaction factor for all persons exists uniquely and individually.
Whether you acknowledge your satisfaction factor or not, it still exists. One thing I know for sure, everyone in the nation wants satisfaction. Because everyone wants satisfaction, I know the satisfaction is calling itself through each of us. Satisfaction is calling itself through me, and it is calling itself through you. When you and I discuss the government, whatever we say, the one bottom line is this. We want satisfaction. We have been forever asking for satisfaction. The idea of the satisfaction factor is part of my consciousness. It is part of your consciousness.
I am going as far as saying we as a nation have a satisfaction factor. If you like, call it a national satisfaction factor. We all want satisfaction. The entire nation is wanting satisfaction. I am telling you all the people in the nation are wanting satisfaction. Each person in the nation is wanting satisfaction. Each person in the nation wants to be happy and to have fun. What is going on when you are wanting satisfaction? What is going on when I am wanting satisfaction? What is going on when I am wanting to be happy? What is going on when I am wanting to have fun? In the moment I am thinking I want to be happy, what is going on? I’ll tell you. I am including the vibration of satisfaction in my vibration. Including the vibration of satisfaction in my vibration, I am rewiring my brain with the energy of satisfaction. I am including a vibration that feels good in my vibration. Feeling satisfaction is feeling pleasure. Feeling satisfaction is feeling happiness. Feeling satisfaction is feeling approval. Feeling approval is feeling fulfillment. Feeling approval is feeling support. These good feeling feelings are natural buffers of stress, even when we are not thinking about stress. Each feeling of satisfaction we feel, in all its variations, I am doing my part in cushioning the blows of the world around me. I am doing my part in activating my neuronal signaling mechanisms allowing my natural opioids to release into my body. This is happening all across the nation where people are feeling satisfaction and pleasure and approval. It is happening among everyone who is feeling fulfillment and support.
When I am thinking satisfaction I am feeling feelings of satisfaction. It’s just the way it works. So you might ask, how do I factor government into the satisfaction mix. After all, looking at the government, I can find so many things to complain about. I don’t have to look far to see what is wrong and needs to be fixed. My complaints show I don’t feel good about government. But my complaints tell me more. My complaints signify my beginning point in this part of my journey to my satisfaction factor. Complaints I have about government show I am exploring, sifting and sorting through details that are meaningful to me. In the process of my explorations, I am gaining clarity and crafting out the very best possible version of government that pleases and satisfies me. Whether I have one complaint or many about government, I am using the thoughts I am thinking to remind me to rearrange the contents of my consciousness. I like knowing this is my starting place for expansion into more of the fullness of who I really am.
When I am complaining about government, I am viewing details that concern me. Let’s say, I'm thinking about situations where the rights of some in the nation are sacrificed for the rights of others. Knowing this is a democracy, I am exploring its core, thinking about how it was established. It was established by the people, for the people, of the people. Today I am seeing the part of the line, “of the people”. Thinking government today is bringing the idea “of the people” in as stand up way for me. It’s part of the preamble to the US Constitution from day one. These are words I learned in elementary school. Just savor the thought for a moment: of the people, and feel the essence of the satisfaction factor. Practice feeling the satisfaction factor in government of the people.
Of the people
Of the people
Of the people
Focusing on the satisfaction factor in government of the people is so pleasing. The idea that everyone in the nation has the satisfaction factor is exhilarating. I am pleasing myself while building momentum with the thought “everyone has the satisfaction factor”. Thinking “of the people” and the satisfaction factor is such an exciting idea. I am having fun working this idea into the arrangement of the contents of my consciousness. In the process of thinking “of the people” and the satisfaction factor for government, I am giving attention to the democracy. I realize democracy is a form of government which includes in its constitutional rights that each has opportunities for the pursuit of happiness. This form of government of the people provides more opportunities for the pursuit of happiness. When I use this idea to rearrange the contents of my consciousness, I am noticing how my satisfaction factor expanding. I notice I am carving out the best possible version the government as a democracy is now becoming. I am asking a number of questions.
How much more inclusive could this democracy become?
How much more equality could expand in this democracy?
How much more fairness could this democracy provide for all the populous?
How much more prosperity could possibly expand throughout this nation?
How much peace could this democracy possibly enjoy?
Exploring my thoughts about what I am observing in government, I am wanting to find thoughts that give me pleasure. The idea of government as a pit stop, I am exploring my thoughts about government. In my training I am practicing thoughts of the government satisfaction factor. Thoughts I am practicing highlight the best possible versions of government. Versions I see only in the mind's eye make me smile, and I am happy about that. Seeing versions of government with the satisfaction factor pleases me.
