I had glimpses of how consciousness works over the years, long before I associated negative feelings with financial problems or family conflicts and happy feelings with financial prosperity and family harmony.
With long lists of feelings that come up when faced with limited finances or disputes in the family, I eventually learned to check my feelings when problems appeared. I finally got it that feelings produced the situations and I could use the same situations as vehicles to demonstrate the power of consciousness.
It is not about feeling happy about limited finances. That’s lunacy. No, I changed the atmosphere surrounding my finances, establishing inner life experiences of infinite provision and abundant finances. I played out scenes illustrating my awareness of continual provision of everything I chose for myself and things I did because my finances are abundant. Neville calls this the law of assumption and all my actions are imaginal, the instrument of my power.
