Who says you can't judge a book by its cover? I do it all the time!
See? Isn't this much better than that swirly green stuff? It looks like someone's rib cage, but it's also a little like the magic marks some of my characters have. That makes it more relevant than swirly green stuff mixed with black.
Yes. I love this. My eye goes right from top to bottom. Middle balance is fine to my eye. Judge a book by its cover, huh? Well once there was a rookie cop who saw a prisoner, in bright orange jump suit, driving a big Mercedes down the street. The cop pulled him over. To his horror, he discovered the driver to be the most respected judge in the city on his way to a Mardi Gras party. The cop ended up on desk duty, and thereafter he swore he would never again book a judge by his cover
