The fun part begins... Well, I finally revamped my NaNo novel (and I know many of you will understand what I'm talking about) and sent out queries to all the agents I could find who accepted email queries.
One agent answered within two hours and requested the full manuscript, which I sent off within a couple of days. Two weeks later, the agent emailed me with a very useful critique that said she liked the book but had some ideas for revisions and if I decided to revise, she'd like to see the book again.
Today, I finished the rewrite. I want to leave it alone for a day or two, and then reread it to make sure it all still holds together well, then I think I'll send her a quick email to make sure she's still interested, print it up again and mail it off to her. Or I might just print it, write a nice covering letter and mail it out. In any case, the fun now begins.
