You Draw Me

Just a little something I wrote for a friend.

You draw me
Since first I saw you
Something in you called to me
And I wanted to know you
To be friends ever and always
I see such beauty in you
Your face
Your body
Your soul
And your presence soothes the wounds I carry of old
You bring me joy and warmth and desire
Though the last has been hidden
You are more dear to me
Than I can ever say.
