Update from the middle of winter 1/8/2007 9:35:00 AM
It's January. January of 2007. I'm not ready for 2006 to be over yet. I'm not sure where the time went, I can't remember doing anything amazing, fantastic, wonderful, or much of anything else for 2006.
All the trees are standing around naked outside, but my roses still have dark green leaves. The plants are confused by this Texas winter. We've a range of temperatures from the mid-teens to around 90... and that was just the last 4 weeks.
Winter here in Texas is an adventure. You walk out the door in the morning, dash back inside and rip the coat off because it's already 80 degrees outside, then two hours later you're shivering next to a heater. The temperature is crazier than any of the roller-coasters at Six Flags.
