Hello, new friends,

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.  I am new to this site and basically what you would call a fledgling author.  I have published e-books and have short stories included in a couple of horror anthologies.  I have been published in two magazines and in a few poetry anthologies, as well.  Most of my writing has an erotic edge to it, as that is just my personality.  I am a sensual romantic and even in my tales of horror and woe, my true soul shines through.

I began writing almost by accident; call it the magic of the internet.  Being an avid reader, I have always felt a close bond to literature and often found myself writing my own private musings.  I only wrote for myself, though and seldom if ever divulged my thoughts to others.  As the internet blossomed and became more of a force in the world, I found myself drawn to the allure of meeting people worldwide and developing friendships with people continents away.  Meeting people led me to chatrooms and more public forums such as myspace and eventually to blogs.

In my encounters I began posting shorts bits and pieces of writing, ranging from poetry and prose to erotic short stories.  Imagine my surprise, when I began getting requests for certain types of stories and even mail from total strangers asking for copies of certain stories I had posted somewhere. People were mortified to discover I didn’t keep copies of what I was penning; I merely posted it and then deleted the copy. 

At the insistence of my readers, I began to keep copies of stories and even submitted some to magazines and publishers of short stories.  As time has carried me along, I have even gathered a following (minimal at best) and have been happy to see a great many people seeming to get genuine enjoyment from reading what my mind was venting.  Fans!  I actually have a couple of fans!  Lol  Thanks Mom!   <wink>  Okay, that WAS a joke folks, lighten up.     

This is still pretty new to me; truth be told, I am not much for blogging in the traditional style and find myself posting more in the way of snippets and thoughts careening around in my head in the form of prose or short tales I call “teasers.”  Most of what I put up will probably be along the lines of my “teasers” and possibly bits of poetry or prose.

            I am completely open to guidance and suggestion!  Also, I would like to request a favor and ask you to “track me.”  I need all of the feedback I can get and I understand this to be a very helpful tool.

            Please feel free to contact me, give some advice and/or offer some guidance to a novice author.  I ask that you all bear with me, for I am not an educated man and find myself fearful of showing my ignorance to a group of professionals.

            I will close by expressing my gratitude to you for reading this and hope that I didn’t bore you too much.
