My upcoming BOOK is nearing release!

My first novel is now nearly three years in the making, and I am as of today- August 15th, 2026, nearly 3/4 of the way to the finish line.
My book "STARFOLK" will be my first attempt at writing a full length novel, but it is a story I have actually released in various formats over the past five decades. As a young man, before highs-chool, I created my own comic [ they call them graphic novels now ], made a deal with a local salesman who sold photo-copiers, offering to place ads in my comic book in exchange for him not charging me to print all the copies I needed to place in the bookstore in the next town over. They sold very briskly...then...later I re-wrote it, as I taught myself to write, and honed my skills.
I love writing poems, because I can write them quickly, and I think they communicate more directly and quickly to many who do not want to read long stories...but the story I wanted to tell, could not be conveyed very well through such short sound bites, so I prayed and asked my Lord, if a novel format would be more effective. I got the go-ahead, and so for the past few years, I have been working on STARFOLK, almost daily...here a page, there a page...reading it only to a few trusted friends.
I am planning to release it as a TRILOGY, The first installment being "Origins".
It is a challenge! Writing a novel, I have discovered, is extremely hard work. It is NOT as easy as it looks.
But with the LORD beside me, and His constant encouragement, I am plugging ahead, and will finish it, and publish STARFOLK: Origins, hopefully by November of this year! Thanks for accompanying me on this crazy journey!
I've love to hear your comments. I'm not writing this for myself. It is first, and foremost for my Lord Jesus Christ, but next, I am doing it for my fellow humans on this planet, who I love very deeply. This book's for YOU!
