A beautiful book Recently, I visited Four Seasons Bookstore in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. There I discovered a book entitled, Stories From the Bible. Illustrated by Lisbeth Zwerger, this elegant art book was published by North-South Books in 2000.
Beautifully designed with unusual, thoughtful illustrations, this book includes a wonderful collection of King James Bible passages for parents to read aloud to their children. I love the publisher's expectation that children CAN understand and enjoy the King James language. The excerpts are mainly from Genesis, Exodus, Psalms, Isaiah, Jeremiah, the four Gospels, Acts and Revelation.
This book would make a terrific addition to a family's collection of top-notch Bible books.
