Good Morning, and Thank You for reading this so early in the morning. For me at 7:45 is late but some people, night owls I call them sleep later. I have a doctors appointment at 10;30 so I am anxious about that. I really hate going to doctors.
This blog is a little different today. It is about SPORTS!!! Listen I know especially some poets can't stand it but I enjoy since I was a boy playing them. I really only like 3 Football, Baseball, and Boxing. I was never good at basketball, I was white and could not jump. Like the Woody Harrelson movie, remember. So lets forget about that one. Although I appreciate the skills of a player. But to e the other three I would still be doing if I could. With this broken foot and a bad heart I am not doing anything but watch the TV. Boxing has become a foreign sport lately. Although I do not blame the American kids, if they can play something else why get your brains ruptered! I have been a Giants fan since my Dad took me to the Polo Grounds in the late 40's to see them play. I remember Mr.Jacobson was the football coach at DeWitt Clinton high school and he ran me off the football team. I was a dirty player. That was the way I was taught by the older kids. My older cousin was notorious for that.
Anyhow both sports are in the papers now and I want to play again. But who wants to play with an old fart. So I am going to do the next best thing. I am going to play some softball over this weekend. The field is around the corner from my home. There will be some other oldies but goodies playing to. So sunday I will give you a recap on how I did on saturday. Hey also remember me on facebook.
