"Mighty are Thy ways, Oh Lord"

I reflect today on the presence of the Lord in my life. What a joy it is to feel the warmth of love that transcends in and throughout my very soul. Lord, I am moved each day by Thy love. Create in me a clean heart, a heart that is driven by Thy love. Send forth Thy Holy Spirit and move in and throughout all that surrounds my life. Bestow Thy sanctifying grace upon my soul, and lead my footsteps in the ways of Thy righteousness. Truly Thou art the God of this universe. Today, I heard the echoing sounds of thunder, and my eyes did behold the bolts of lightning that lit the night sky. What did I see? What did I hear? I saw strength, power and might; in the storm that moved through this night. My eyes were open to see the greatness of Thy power and might. Truly I am amazed. Thou art truly a God that is full of power and mighty are Thy ways. Let all the heavens and all that Thou has created with Thy mighty hands alone, proclaim "How great are His wonders!"

"The heavens proclaim Your wonders, Oh Lord, and Your faithfulness, in the assembly of the holy ones, For who in the skies can rank with the Lord? Who is like the Lord among the sons of God? God is terrible in the council of the holy ones; He is great and awesome beyond all round about Him. O Lord, God of hosts, who is like you? Mighty are You, O Lord, and Your faithfulness surrounds You."  (Psalm 89: 6-9)
