Describes common expressions usded in the business arena Ace- An expert; a person who is very good at something Baby Boomers- People who were born between 1945 and 1964 Bargaining chip- A negotiation ploy, usually a demand which the negotiator plans to give up Blockbuster- a smashing success Catch 22- an irresolvable contradiction Cowboy economy- uses resources and then moves on Down the wire- last minute, completed just before the deadline Melt down- product failure Niche marketing- serving a unique market segment better the larger competitors Rubber stamp- to O.K, without really studying the situation White collar crimes- crimes committed by professional workers
