I was thinking about getting back to ESP basics and using techniques I learned long ago to generate book sales. I've been a parapsychology researcher for years -- analyzing, but no longer using my psychic skills. Does that make sense? In many ways, we, as writers, are always using our "Psychism" because we're creative types and tuned in to our right brain/creative side. But there are ways to jump start this aspect of ourselves and have it work overtime in our behalf. Some of the people in my book, "Mystic Souls" talk about how psyhic/spirituality works in their daily lives. I haven't looked at the book in a while and the other day I leafed through it, and thought, hmmm, good book!

Then, I started to think about one of the first New Age superstars I ever read, Louise Hay. Louise "came up" with the idea (her supconscious was on the job) to put together illnesses with their metaphysical causes. She typed this up into a small booklet and had 200 copies printed. Then she tried to get them out to the public, but nothing much happened. Louise was also a Science of Mind practitioner and so she sat down and said loudly, "Okay, God, help me with my booklet!" Of course, we know that a direct command like this whips the subconscious into action. Soon after, she sold all books -- in a flash.
