Color Us Jesus I was inspired to write my book Color Us Jesus by my two brothers who were stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. There was this army sergeant that they often talked about, who was racist and treated his black soldiers unfairly. It was after I had become a born again Christian that I thought about that sergeant and I knew only God could change that soldiers heart. Thus became Sergeant Michael Sullivan and my story began!
