Readings and events at Colleges.And No More Freebee's Well thinga's are Picking UP!College Readings and getting i in orgs. that try to help people.Books not Bombs.and Prison Rights is what I'm doing now.Having 2 good friends in IRAQ right now.And there alot Braver than me!To bad they need the $$$$$ for their kids.As their really Not the Most Political cats I know.It's Kinda Pathetic in my book.But I'M always Curious as to know how they Treat our Darker Brother over there.I cant get an answer on Line as I'm sure It's Censored Big Time...and Decoded!As when They come to Ny Getting a Cab is Rough YO!my friend Wrote me Back with a symbol !! on the Point.Told him that getting a few books Is inspiring and that the schools are Buying my Books .Sid I'M getting sick of 'Literay voyeurs'That don't BUY books...What's the Point of Writing I can do alot of other tings for a 'Hobby'.So now after 30 years Of writing I am starting to get Paid a ...bit.What disturbs me is when someone like OPRA say's read!!GODAMN IT!..people raed and amke CRAP a best seller....hmmmm somethings wrong with that Picture.But then again like a friend say's if you can get it for freee..whay Buy..but the thing is you never get the BEST when it's free I said..so iM Going to post once a week or once a month...I think as I can't afford to Pay to be in a 'Club'that dosent support its artist.$$$$$ where in Reality They wouldn't be able to reda it if the Writer did'nt pay......I'no longe with that.So If yall see Less of my work..and YOU enjoy my work before I'TS A best seller..as I write for 'ME' really..then by all means BUY one of my book's .The Editor for my Prison Memoir said to me 'OH' the Feminist Press doesnt 'DO' book signings...or any promo....or tour's...well they pay the writeras..75 bucks...and The Anthology sells...There NOt doing it for the Love...so I said well they can't have my work..No more anthology's for me eather.So If the Colleges can Py...and don't get me wrong...they have Robbed me for years. University of Fla. did'nt want to pay 5 bucks a poem...and they used my work afted I said No...I said...well have me come out meet me I'Ll do a reading..or rap..'OH NO' we can't afford that...so Now no you dont' get my work...I have to eat to!
