John 6:51-68 has many interpretations-
There are so. many people that read the Bible and try to understand what the verses mean or the idea they are trying to get across.
John 6:51-68 may be at the head of the list. I have heard two main interpretations, but only one can be correct.
Many bible scholars believe Jesus was speaking figuratively or metaphorically.
I challenge all to answer this very important question:
Why did Jesus ask the 12 Apostles if they were leaving too? After the 400-600 Disciples were walking away, Jesus, with that question was putting the groundwork for His Plan of Salvation at Risk.
Without the Apostles and after His Death on the Cross, there would be no one to spread the Gospel to all nations. Again I ask, why would Jesus ask the 12 if they were leaving too, especially if His Words were not to be taken Literally?
