John 6:51-68 Conundrum 2/26/2022 3:25:14 PM
Every Christian that reads John 6:51-68 will reach the Conclusion, 80% of the time, Jesus was speaking Figuratively. Now there is Proof, hopefully many will agree, that Jesus was speaking Literally- Bible verses, at times, can be difficult to interpret. Many read the same verse but they may result in a different meaning. This is especially true with John 6:51-68.
After 32 Months of research, I may have discovered a Proof that will resolve this issue.
Apart from the high percentage of Christians not believing the Words of Jesus were Literal, a Pew Research Survey found 35%-65% of Catholics do not believe in the True Presence of the Holy Eucharist.
The problem can be broken down to either Jesus was Speaking Metaphorically or Literally. Metaphorically, all view the Lord's Supper as a symbolic remembrance of the Last Supper. Literally, we all have to accept the Holy Eucharist as the True Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ.
